Treebeard
Treebeard, the great Ent, is showcased in
this song. The song has an "earthy" feel to it which
is quite appropriate given the nature of Treebeard. This shows
Treebeard capture Merry and Pippin and save them from the Orc
that followed them into Fangorn. Although Treebeard thinks
they may be little Orcs, they manage to convince him that they
are not (with the help of Gandalf!)
Treebeard's overbearing presence is well
shown by this song, and his help will be vital in the Two
Towers.
