The Leave Taking
This song is a graceful melody which shows
the sadness of departure. There is also some of the angelic
background singing in the background which adds another
element to the soundtrack. It combines well with Shore's
notes.
The song also highlights a dangerous journey
ahead, one with many perils, but also of grand things if they
are victorious. Everyone is very aware that the fate of Middle
Earth depends entirely on the fate of the Ring, and all their
hopes lie in Frodo.
