This song highlights the battle for Helm's Deep and shows the many individual battles that are fought throughout the scene. In the end, the people of Rohan are no match for the overwhelming Uruk-Hai.

The people of Rohan have lost and the Uruk-Hai are advancing into the inner parts of the city. It is a time of despair for the city, the people are deathly frightened and Theoden loses his courage. Fortunately, Aragorn is able to convince him to go out in one last charge for his people. 

This glorious battle song is well done by Shore. He captures the essence of this last desperate attempt to save the people of Rohan very effectively. The use of horns here is done flawlessly. The advance of the remaining fighters through the city is desperate indeed, they are outnumbered 100 to 1.
