The Breaking of the Fellowship

This is an extremely sad song as the viewer witnesses the Fellowship come apart. Boromir falls to the power of the Ring (although we will later see that his father has set him up to it) and attempts to take it from Frodo. When this happens, Frodo is forced to put on the Ring and flee.

This song also depicts the death of Boromir and the last fight with the Uruks. Boromir is seen recovering from his mistake and fighting the Uruks valiantly on his own (Does Merry and Pippin throwing rocks count? :-) )

Nevertheless, Boromir is slain by the orc's arrows before Aragorn can reach him. Aragorn manages to slay the orc and be with Boromir in his dying moments. The song gives a very graceful sound which shows the Fellowship scattered, yet focused. Their adventure ahead will be interested indeed.
