Many Meetings

This title begins the display of Rivendell. It certainly portrays it as a majestic city and a safe haven. It shows Frodo being reunited with his friends: Sam, Merry, and Pippin. It also shows Frodo meeting up with Bilbo again and shows their joyous reunion.

The other reunion is with Gandalf. This may be the most important one as it reassures Frodo and brings back his courage, even though he is upset that Gandalf did not meet them in Bree.

The music for this track is a light flowing tune that captures the spirit of Rivendell and of reunion. It also brings the listener back to thoughts of the Shire. Both places are safe havens, and the music displays that by giving both a cheery sound. It also displays the Elves properly - as a higher race, and since they are immortal, except due to battle or by choice, reveals the Elves well.
