Foundations of Stone
A dreary beginning to the second soundtrack
which starts off the Two Towers movie, this track aims to show
how difficult the journey ahead will be for Frodo and Sam.
They are in a dark land and end up going in circles.
However, the song soon turns to trumpets to
blast out the notes combined with some background singing
bring this song to a powerful conclusion which sets the tone
for the rest of the movie. It allows the viewer and listener
to know that it is a dark time for Middle Earth - and much
must be risked to fight the enemy.
