Flight to the Ford
This track opens with Arwen approaching
Frodo in a white light. Frodo is stunned by the light and her
presence and it helps slow the wound. Arwen then places Frodo
on her horse and begins the ride to Rivendell.
Not long after, she picks up the Black
Riders in full pursuit. This has to be the most spectacular
chase scene in all of the movies. All of the Riders are
tearing after her on rabid horses bred for combat.
Keeping barely ahead of the Riders, Arwen
manages to make it across the river, which allows her to call
upon the waters to defeat the Black Riders (or at least make
them lose their horses).
This track really captures Arwen's presence,
both at the beginning and end of the track. It shows her
beauty and light and her powerful presence.
