A Knife in the Dark

This song sounds exactly like the scene it is depicting - flight and chase. As Strider and the Hobbits are atop the Watchtower of Amon Sul, the Black Riders approach due to the fire the Hobbits lit.

The Hobbits are no match for the servants of Mordor. As Frodo puts on the Ring and then resists the Black Rider's attempt to grab it, Frodo is stabbed by him. As Gandalf later states, Frodo's wound will never fully heal. Luckily, Strider enters the scene and is able to ward off the Riders with fire.

Frodo is considerably wounded by the stab and is about to become one of the wraiths. Fortunately, Arwen shows up to carry Frodo towards Rivendell. This track captures the aura of the Watchtower along with the Riders extremely well, and the arrival of Arwen is spectacular, as she jokingly mocks Strider while he is bending down.
